OUR PRICES

Standard lessons are 2 hours in duration.
90min or 1 hour lessons will be considered if there is something specific to be practiced, or fault fixing
which may not require a full 2hr lesson, or with prior agreement with the instructor.
Please speak to our instructors about the benefits of 2 hour lessons compared to 90min or 1 hour lessons.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING £65.00 per hour

LESSON PRICES ARE POSTCODE BASED 
The postcode rate is based on your home postcode , However if agreed by the instructor it may be
based on pick up / drop off postcode ie school / college / work .
Any pick up / drop off locations must be agreed well in advance as the instructor cannot
accommodate a significant location change on the day of your lesson
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy which will be explained on your first lesson and a written
handout provided as per the DVSA‘s code of practice

  • Manual tuition rate : £50/hr
  • Auto tuition rate. : £55/hr

East Lothian

  • Manual tuition rate : £45/hr
  • Auto tuition rate : £50/hr

Midlothian

  • Postcodes : EH18 to EH20 ; EH22 to EH26 ; EH37 & EH38
  • Manual tuition rate : £50/hr

West Lothian

Instructors may apply an additional surcharge of £5.00 per hour for late evening & weekend lessons

BLOCK BOOKINGS

Discounts are at the instructors discretion.

We prefer payment to be made via the total drive app or by bank transfer

  • Any payment is required 7 days in advance
  • Any cash payments must be made 7 days in advance
  • If you pay by cash in car the first lesson payment is required 7 days in advance , on the first lesson the payment is required to secure the second lesson , on the second lesson payment for the third lesson is required …….. and so on

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

  • To clarify our cancellation policy
  • Any lesson or training session that is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged as a “ late cancellation “ at you current full lesson price
  • We do understand there may be extenuating circumstances and it is your instructors discretion on this matter

At “STUART’s DRIVING SCHOOL” we have not increased our lesson prices with current increase in fuel price rising significantly , however block booking discounts on future packages may be removed until fuel prices return to normal
